Y.T HANDMADE CANDLES

Handmade scented candles that combine concrete and connection to nature. I chose to brand this business because I am very connected to crafts. In this business some of the candles are made inside handcrafted concrete vessels. What attracts me the most, is the choice of concrete for a product that is very delicate and how the combination of the two manages to produce harmony. In the meeting with the client we tried to understand what sets her apart from the rest and what is important for her to promote and preserve. It was clear to both of us that concrete is the main element here and we decided to bring it to the front and combine softness. The target audience is women and men of all ages who like to combine a design-decorative accessory with pleasant and soothing fragrances. The project was designed using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Logo

The logo consists of two capital letters with a concrete texture to form a heavier look.

Behind the letters I added a light shading to emphasize the letters and bring them to the front. At the base of the logo located the artist’s name with a soft font which balances the masive feel of the concrete. In addition, i added a scented candle in between the letters.

The combination of all the elements together creates the harmony we wanted to achieve.
